Are dark Ads really signs of the apocalypse?
You know I love blonde(Thanks Neil) jokes but not necessarily when mixed with my lowest common denominator television programming and super models opening doors and falling into traffic from the sky. Reality T.V. and real life are mixing like "This is your brain on Drugs" commercials. For instances take the latest OJ pay per-view show "Juiced", where he tries to sell the white bronco. As attack Ads and tragic advertising get darker and darker {insert egg in frying pan sound} it's just going to get worse and worse. Take for instance the "Safe Happens" VW Ad. What is next? Keep guns away from children? Use your imagination. The famous SNL skit "I hate it when that happens" pretty much made you giggle, ewww and gross out all at the same time. Are dark Ad trend really signs of the apocalypse? I think it's time for an Ad that shows a green planet turning brown and becoming a giant hot body of water and then it gets dried up by the sun and turns into dust. How is that for a dark spin?
